Starting a new adventure!
Day 1: Mountain View, CA to Three Rivers, CA First leg of our trip - almost four hours of driving exactly. We'll be posting our progress as we go along from Mountain View to Bastrop. 5:00pm - Goodbye, California Yesterday we said goodbye to our California homes and bid farewell to Mountain View and the Bay Area. The last month has been so incredibly busy that it wasn't until we were sitting in an empty apartment that we had time to soak in and appreciate the gravity of what was happening: For the first time since 2014 we were leaving our California homes to travel east and settle in Texas. We celebrated by playing lots of video games - specifically Hades - and drinking a whole bottle of 3-year-old Martinelli's. Mary: So empty... Except for the leaves.
